This ideal family retreat accommodates four adults and up to three children in its three bedrooms—one with a queen-sized bed and a lovely view of the lake, another with a queen-sized bed and a two-piece bath and the last with bunks (a single up and double down). Buck Lake Retreat also has two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a solarium. The solarium, graced with a variety of plants, has a table where you can enjoy a meal and gaze out at the lake. And if you need to escape—there’s also a basement with a cozy couch and woodstove. Plus, there’s a washer and dryer for your convenience. |
| There’s no shortage of things to do once you’ve tired of swimming—the retreat has bicycles with helmets, three kayaks, a sailing dingy, a rowboat and a canoe. Or you could take it easy and fish off the dock. And, if you must spend a rainy day or cool evening inside, there’s lots of home entertainment options: TV/VCR, stereo and high-speed Internet, as well as numerous puzzles, games and books. |

Although Buck Lake Retreat is located in a relaxed and peaceful rural setting, the conveniences of a city are still nearby. Amenities on the island include: restaurants and galleries, grocery and drug stores, medical services, RCMP, golf and Frisbee golf courses, tennis courts and several specialty coffee and gift stores. |
